Türkçe sürüm: Gizlilik Politikası — Codex Numbers
In short
Codex Numbers does not require an account and never asks you for your real name, e-mail address, telephone number, precise location, contacts or photos. The app does collect technical and gameplay information through the services listed below so that it can show ads, report crashes and run online matches.

Information the app collects
The app itself has no server of its own and we do not maintain a user database. Information is collected by the third-party services embedded in the app, listed here in full.
| What is collected | Why | Processed by |
|---|---|---|
| App usage and gameplay events (levels started and finished, screens opened, language selected), device model, operating system version, approximate country derived from IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier | To understand which parts of the game are used and to improve them | Google Firebase Analytics |
| Crash reports: stack traces, device state at the moment of the crash, operating system version | To find and fix crashes | Google Firebase Crashlytics |
| A push notification token generated for your device installation | To deliver notifications about the game (for example, that it is your turn in an online match) | Google Firebase Cloud Messaging |
| Advertising data: device advertising identifier, IP address, ad interaction and frequency data | To display advertisements inside the game, cap how often the same ad is shown and prevent ad fraud. The app is configured as child-directed, so only non-personalised, family-appropriate ads are requested. We do not use interest-based advertising or remarketing. | Google AdMob |
| Online multiplayer data: the nickname shown in the game, your in-game moves, and connection data such as IP address and the region you connect from | To match you with another player and to run the online match in real time. Your nickname and your moves are visible to the player you are matched with. | Photon (Exit Games Inc. / Exit Games GmbH) |
| Google Play Games player identifier, achievements and leaderboard scores | To save achievements and leaderboard positions. This applies only if Google Play Games sign-in takes place on your device. | Google Play Games Services |
| Game settings, selected language, sound preference and your nickname | To remember your preferences between sessions. This information is stored on your device only and is deleted when you uninstall the app. | Stored on your device — not transmitted to us |
The app contains no in-app purchases. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above.
Children and families
Codex Numbers is suitable for children and takes part in the Google Play Families programme. Accordingly:
- Advertising requests are marked as child-directed and as coming from users under the age of consent, so only non-personalised ads are served. Interest-based advertising and remarketing are disabled.
- The app does not ask children for their name, e-mail address, telephone number or any other personal detail.
- In online matches the nickname is shown to the other player. Please choose a nickname that does not contain a real name, school, address or any other identifying information.
- The app does not include free-form chat, voice chat, photo sharing or friend requests.
Online multiplayer
The online mode is powered by Photon, operated by Exit Games. When you start an online match, your nickname, your moves and technical connection data (including your IP address) are sent to Photon servers so that the match can be relayed to the player you are matched with. Matches are not recorded by us and the game does not keep a history of who you played against.
Where data is processed
The service providers above operate globally, which means your data may be processed outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area — in particular in the United States and in the European Union. These transfers are carried out under the safeguards published by each provider, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Analytics and crash data are retained according to the default retention periods of Google Firebase (currently up to 14 months for analytics events and 90 days for crash reports). Photon keeps connection data only for as long as the match lasts, plus a short period for operational logging. Data stored on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Your choices and rights
- Delete local data: uninstalling the app removes the settings and nickname stored on your device.
- Advertising identifier: you can reset or delete it in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Notifications: you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.
- Google Play Games data: managed from your Google account at myaccount.google.com.
- Access, correction and deletion: under the GDPR and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) no. 6698 you may ask us what data relates to you and request its deletion. Write to support@mobixo.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
